Our objective is to develop paddling and other outdoor learning programs to make them accessible to school groups both locally and across the province. Through our current web of contacts with teachers in Ontario, we have organised and run many carefully tailored programs that have proved to be a huge success. All programs centre on learning new skills in an inspiring, positive and challenging outdoor environment. We focus in particular on the dynamics of leadership and co-operative learning. In addition to an awareness of safety, students gain an interest and appreciation for their immediate environment. As an optional follow-up we offer dynamic in-school workshops that highlight the value of a collaborative effort.
All of our school programs have evolved from the interests and feedback of students, parents and teachers.
