Wilderness Whitewater Canoe Tripping
This two-day course is split between teaching canoeing & wilderness river running techniques (50%) and sharing the wide array of skills & gear & strategies that you’ll find invaluable on any river (50%).
We want to cover a lot of ground here, so we'd like to get your attention early. Depending on the composition of the team, our goal is to start on Friday evening with the conversation around the campfire or in the Boathouse.
We will depart for the Snake Rapids on Lower Madawaska early Saturday and spend that night camping on the river. We will be back at the Paddler Co-op between 3pm-5pm on Sunday.
We'll gather at Paddler Co-op campsite on Friday evening around 6pm. Departure for Lower Madawaska Saturday morning after breakfast. Camping on the river, back at Co-op base Sunday between 3pm-5pm for the wrap up.
2+ day course- $399.00 + Membership $5.00 + HST.
Bring your tent/thermarest/bag. Foor on the river included, bring Friday night snack.
